Description
The Crown Imperials and their close relatives are imposing, stately plants with tall stems carrying a ring of large, bell-shaped flowers in various bright colours, later forming attractive seed heads.
Is smaller than the crown imperials, but fits better with their description than with the smaller fritillaries. It has lovely pale yellow flowers, looking delightful against the whorls of rich green leaves, and flowering early in the spring
