Pennisetum alopecuroides
A variety of grass forming beautiful bottlebrush-like flowers with a light silvery sheen. Grows in compact but airy bunches. It is a very popular plant because of its many uses. It does well in both sunny and dry conditions. When planted in groups, it forms a seascape effect with its heads swaying in the wind. At the same time, it forms a beautiful border for lush garden beds. Combined with other plants, it creates a soft background. Does well in planters or pots on the patio. The flower stalks are also decorative when dried. In autumn, the leaves turn yellow, adding an aesthetically pleasing touch to the arriving frost. To avoid damage, make sure that the growing area does not receive excessive moisture in winter.
