🌱 Cultivation

The Amaryllis bulb should be placed in a pot with good drainage, leaving the top part (about one-third of the bulb) above the soil to avoid excess moisture and mold. 🌱

Position the pot on a sunny windowsill, as the Amaryllis loves light, but protect it from direct scorching sunlight. The ideal growing temperature is around 20–23°C. 🌞

Watering should be done moderately. Start watering right after planting, but reduce watering before sprouting. As the shoots begin to rise, gradually increase watering. Excess moisture can cause the bulb to rot, so the soil should remain slightly moist, not waterlogged. 💦

When “Charisma” blooms (usually in winter), it offers 6–8 weeks of floral beauty. After flowering, cut the stems and reduce watering to allow the plant to rest. Let the leaves wither and place the bulb in a cooler, dark place (10–12°C) for about three months to encourage the next flowering. 🌱

Around February or March, bring the pot back into the light, start watering lightly, and wait for the Amaryllis to sprout again, providing new blooms for the next winter. 🔄
