Description

Hanging yellow turban-shaped flowers with purple spots in, blooms in July–August.

Leichtlin’s lily (lilium lieictlinii) is classified as an Asiatic lily, but it blooms later. Easy to grow if the growing area is suitable. The soil should be rich in humus and permeable, requires watering during the dry season. There are numerous elegant, downward-facing flowers on a single stalk. Plant 3–4 bulbs close together in a flower bed to achieve a striking effect. After blooming, the above-ground parts should be cut. No scent.
