Introducing a newcomer with sophisticated style and plenty of panache. Merlot Ice Gladiolus features wide, velvety, wine-red blooms that fill up one side of its robust 10-15cn stem with ease. Silvery streaks and edging add a subtle sense of style to the large flowers and give them an even more dynamic look—especially when they are planted in large groups. Flower buds are nearly black, and they open 10 to 12 at a time. Highly recommended by our Dutch pros for sunny back borders and mixed cutting gardens. They make bouquets and arrangements with grand style and lots of height and interest.
