Winter-hardy, suitable for growing on beds, lawns, under trees and shrubs, by hedges and planks, in pots, boxes and elsewhere. Prefers to grow in a sunny, gritty, well-drained place with fertile soil. Planting begins in August and the tubers should reach the soil at least a month before the soil is completely frozen. It is recommended to plant the bulbs at a depth of 7 to 8 cm. Crocuses can grow in the same place for many years. Crocuses are also great for timing. To do this, they need a cold period of 15 weeks.
