💜 STRATOS – large, deep purple flower heads on tall, sturdy stems
The STRATOS ornamental plant is a striking and elegant decorative plant whose strong stems top large, deep purple, cup-shaped flower clusters. Its intense purple-lilac color and architectural form make it a true eye-catcher in both perennial beds and modern garden designs.
STRATOS grows to a height of about 100 cm and blooms in June. The large flower heads can reach a diameter of about 15 cm and rise beautifully above shorter plants. The most striking effect is achieved when the bulbs are planted in groups of several.
🐝 The flower clusters, consisting of numerous small star-shaped flowers, are very attractive to honeybees, bumblebees, and other pollinators.
💐 STRATOS also makes an excellent cut flower. Its strong, straight stems and large flower heads give bouquets an architectural look. After blooming, the dried flower heads retain their beautiful shape and are well-suited for dried flower arrangements.
