Description
💜🌷 NEGRITA – a velvety deep-purple tulip classic for spectacular mass plantings
The Triumph tulip NEGRITA (Tulipa ‘Negrita’) is one of the best-known dark-purple tulip varieties. Its elegant, cup-shaped flowers are a deep purple-violet with a reddish-violet hue and a beautiful satin sheen. Depending on the light, the flower color shifts from deep purple to almost dark plum, creating a luxurious and dramatic effect in the flower bed.
🌷 A pack of 50 bulbs is ideal for creating a larger tulip bed or a mass planting. When planted in a large group, NEGRITA forms a stunning sea of deep purple flowers in the spring that stands out even from a distance.
NEGRITA belongs to the Triumph tulip group, which is prized for its classic flower shape and strong, upright stems. The plant grows to a height of about 40–50 cm and blooms in April–May.
💨 Strong stems help the large flowers stay upright even in the changeable spring weather. That’s why NEGRITA is perfect for home gardens, larger landscaped areas, and growing cut flowers.
💐 A wonderful cut flower! Its long, sturdy stems and rich purple-violet color give spring bouquets an elegant and luxurious look.
🤍🌸 NEGRITA looks especially striking when paired with white, cream, and light pink tulips or daffodils. It also creates a beautiful contrast with blue grape hyacinths and other shorter spring flowers.
