🍅 Zakopane – an impressive, large-fruited beefsteak tomato ideal for stuffing and slicing
Zakopane is a vigorous and tall-growing tomato variety that can reach over 2 meters in height. It produces abundant clusters, each typically carrying 4 to 5 large fruits. The tomatoes are exceptionally big, weighing 300 g up to 1 kg, depending on growing conditions.
The fruits are deeply lobed and ribbed, resembling the shape of some peppers, which gives them a striking appearance. Their thick, meaty flesh and rich flavour make them perfect for stuffed tomatoes, as well as slicing, salads, sandwiches and cooking.
This is a mid-season, indeterminate variety with a long and steady harvest period throughout summer.
