Its tightly packed powder-blue flowers open at the tips. It does best  in a well-drained sink or rockery. The &#8221;Grape Hyacinths&#8221; as the name  implies are heavily scented. All do well in the drier, sunny conditions  provided under deciduous shrubs in spring, with summer shade, but also  make delightful subjects for mixed spring containers.<\/div>\n<div>Muscari azureum should be planted 8cm deep and 5-8cm apart  in a well drained soil and in a sunny situation in the spring, which  becomes shaded in the summer. <\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Muscari azureum is probably the easiest to grow and not at all invasive.
