Muscari GRAPE ICE

Muscari or grape gyacinths are often used as “fillers” between other flowers, but you might be tempted to give Muscari ‘Grape Ice’ a starring role all on its own.  This remarkable little plant breaks all the rules, giving you grape-purple blooms topped by a tuft of ice-white florets. That’s a fabulous sight that makes using it as a feature plant a very real option. Like other Muscari, ‘Grape Ice’ are perfect for pots, and that allows you to grow them in one area and then move them to a spot where they’ll get everyone’s attention when they bloom. And they will get attention – even knowledgeable gardeners will stop and stare.
