Iron cross (O. tetraphylla syn. O. deppei) Large light green leaves with brown spots resemble a four-leaf clover. The flowers are pink and bring joy from June to September. Due to its low growth and long blooming period, the plant is suitable in a rock garden and as a border plant, as well as for balcony boxes and patio planters. Can be planted in the garden in the second half of May once the soil has warmed up sufficiently. Prefers a sunny location with well-drained soil. Needs occasional watering. The tubers are kept without soil in a dry, cool room protected from frost in the winter. Iron cross is suitable for forcing.
